Overview

Modus Club ("we", "us", or "our") operates modusclub.co. This page explains how we collect, use, and safeguard personal information when you use our website, and the choices you have regarding your data.

By using our site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

When you place an order or contact us, we may collect:

Name and contact information (email address, phone number)
Billing and shipping address
Payment confirmation details (we never collect — card numbers or bank login credentials)
Order history and transaction data
Device information and IP address (collected automatically)

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Process and fulfil your orders
Communicate with you about your order status
Respond to customer service requests
Improve our website and services
Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

Payment Security

Payment is handled through the methods offered at checkout. Payment is completed either inside your own bank or banking app, or through a third-party payment processor — we never collect, see, or store card numbers, account numbers, or bank login credentials. What reaches us is the payment confirmation and the name it arrives under, used only to match the payment to your order.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies to enhance your browsing experience. Cookies are small files stored on your device that help us understand how visitors use our site. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when one is being sent. Some features of the site may not function properly without cookies.

Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services such as payment processors, shipping providers, and analytics platforms. These providers have their own privacy policies, and we recommend reviewing them. We share only the minimum information necessary to provide these services.

Analytics and Session Analysis

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our site. Clarity records interaction data such as clicks, scrolling, mouse movement and navigation between pages, and turns it into heatmaps and session replays. We use these to find pages that are confusing and to see where the ordering process breaks down.

Clarity sets two first-party cookies on your device, named _clck and _clsk. The first recognises a returning browser and the second groups activity into a single visit.

Clarity is configured in strict masking mode. Text on the page, including anything you type into a form, is masked in your browser before any data leaves your device, so we can see that a field was completed but not what was entered in it. We do not run Clarity on your account pages. No card or bank details are entered anywhere on this site, as payment is made by Zelle outside the website, so there are none to record. Microsoft handles this data under the Microsoft Privacy Statement at privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Order records are retained for accounting and legal compliance purposes.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@modusclub.co.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to access or delete it, to correct inaccuracies, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our site. Clarity also records heatmaps and sessions (for example, on checkout); it masks the text on the page in your browser, so what you type is not sent to Microsoft. Marketing emails are sent from our own systems through our email delivery provider. We do not use third-party advertising pixels. You can opt out at any time by choosing Decline on our cookie banner (which prevents these technologies from loading), by enabling a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser, or via the link below. To make an access or deletion request, email support@modusclub.co.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
